Deep Tissue Massage (Myofascial)

Indications: Tension, Stiffness, overwhelm, fatigue, contracted muscles, jaw / head tension or headaches, stress, postural issues

Focus: Reaching and realigning deeper layers of muscles & connective tissue (fascia) while releasing stress and grounding

*Performed with minimum clothing and 100% organic massage oils and essential oils*

Pressure: Gradually transitioning from medium to medium high or even to pretty high if you feel that this is what you need

Rhythm: Slow, precise but with flow

Contra-indications: Fever, contagious diseases of the skin, pregnancy, cancer, open wounds, varicose veins, inflammatory illnesses, unregulated high blood pressure

Benefits: Deep tissue massage is believed to help our body return to a state of self healing, improve blood and lymph circulation, immunity, muscle & joint pain relief (both manage chronic pain and acute), enhance joint mobility, reduce inflammation, get rid of toxins and metabolic waste by-products, sleep better, lower the chances for headaches and migraines, improve our posture, regain flexibility

Reccomended Frequency of sessions: Every 2 to 4 weeks. Once a month is crucial to prevent and release tensions in order to maintain the body and mind in a balanced state. Twice a month is necessary when wanting to actively release deep old tensions and improve posture, or help soothe signs of general stress / anxiety / depression by learning to return to a state of regulation and deep relaxation. Also this frequency is mostly thought to boost sleep quality, mood, flexibility and act preventively against burnout in difficult periods where work/life balance is out of sync.

Can a deep tissue massage be painful or harmful? 

It can but it shouldn't if it's not done right. My approach is to sync with your body and in constant interaction with the signs of it, to flow together with it. I aspire to find this harmonic balance between pleasure and relieving pain and not go ‘invading’ the body by crossing any limits. Safety is the key for surrendering because our nervous system controls everything in the body. Only when there is trust and safety can we truly let go and reach the very deep relaxation state that enhances our self healing mechanisms.

Classic (Swedish) Massage

Indications: Tension, tiredness, lack of energy, cramps, sore muscles, stiffness, agitation, mental overwhelm, feeling of being ungrounded or inability to rest.

Focus: Manipulating and softening muscle layers, gentle stretches, breathing and releasing tension, using aromatherapy inhalations to improve mood, relieve tiredness, return to wholeness. 
*Performed with minimum clothing and 100% organic massage oils and essential oils*

Pressure: Gradually transitioning from medium low to medium or medium high, on demand Rhythm: slow / medium with conscious pauses on important points along the meridians

Contra-indications: Fever, Cold, contagious diseases, open wounds, unregulated high blood pressure. Generally very safe for everyone, including children and elderly people.

Benefits: Classical (Swedish) massage is believed to help our body return to a state of self healing, improve blood and lymph circulation, immunity, muscle & joint mobilisation, reduce inflammation and fluid retention, boost detoxification. Also it seems to help people sleep better, lower the chances for headaches and migraines, improve our mood and hormones and brings us in deeper contact with the life flowing inside us.

Reccommended frequency of sessions: Every 2 weeks if you are going through a stressful period and need to keep yourself centered and prevent overwhelm or every 4 weeks to maintain your well being, to switch off and reboot your system, to prevent the winter blues and help your body relax through reaching deep states of relaxation, which has tremendous impact to the nervous system.

Pregnancy Massage

Indications: Swollen and tired feet, legs or arms, lower back stiffness, hip tension, tiredness, lack of energy, cramps, sore muscles, stiffness, agitation, mental overwhelm, feeling the need to deeply connect with yourself and the new life developing inside you in an intimate and ritualistic way.

Focus: On demand - Can be lower back and hips, upper back and neck / arms.
*Performed with minimum clothing and 100% organic massage oils and essential oils*

Pressure: Gradually transitioning from medium low to medium.

Rhythm: medium or slow, flowing and ritualistic

Contra-indications: If you have a difficult pregnancy always ask your doctor first or your midwife. Generally this massage is 100% safe after the 1st trimester.

Benefits: It seems to be helping with fluid retention and stagnation, helps soothe sore muscles and joins in a gentle and caring way, improves the mood, reduces stress, promotes relaxation, helps release lower / upper back tensions and hip stiffness. 

Frequency of sessions: Depends on your pregnancy or after pregnancy recovery. Seek doctor’s advice. Usually women who keep exercising along their pregnancy have great outcomes and need their massages up to 3 times in total before birthgiving.

Traditional Reiki

Indications: Feeling low, anxious, disconnected, unloved, mentally overloaded, sensory overloaded, unregulated, unmotivated, emotionally heavy or empty, tired, sleepless, agitated, PMSy

Focus: On demand 

Pressure: Gentle on Key points on the body, or above the body or over a distance. The session is performed with comfortable clothes on, without oils. Crystals, breathwork, aromatherapy and guided meditation can be combined if we find it fit.

Rhythm: Slow, deep, ritualistic

Contra-indications: None

Benefits: Reiki is believed to assist people into achieving and sustaining a sense of holistic wellbeing. It is a gentle practice which allows waves of cosmic energy (Chi) to flow in all your bodies (physical, aural, emotional etc) and release blockages, promote a sense of calmness and connectedness, help re-centering and feel more self love and compassion. Reiki sessions can be an all natural way to boost our self-healing mechanisms and fight colds, recover faster from injuries, relax the nervous system, improve stress levels and sleeping quality. For those with a more spiritual background, it could be a beautiful experience of connection with the source of oneness. 

Frequency of sessions: Depends absolutely on what you wish to make out of it. One time session can give you a little boost to find your center, reconnect with yourself and regain flow over whatever feels stagnated. Regular sessions can go deep, in any direction you or your higher self needs some lightness and more love or connection to the source. Your intention is what shapes the direction of the energy, I am only the intuitive channel for the energy to flow.
Long distance sessions are also available, as the energy is not limited by time / space laws.

Massage Therapy

Non Medical Lymph Drainage

The target of this massage is to help the body or the face to flush away toxins, fluids, waste, and metabolic byproducts promote wellness, strengthen your immune system, prevent infections and resolve stagnation. The lymphatic system does not have the pumps like the circulatory and can mostly get triggered by regular excercise. In a session of manual lymphatic drainage we boost this process naturally.
It is a dry type of massage, no oils or other substances are used.

Back Massage

I teach the Art of Touch in groups and privately. Individuals and couples or friends welcome. Beginners and practitioners of all levels welcome. You can choose to learn any of the massage modalities that I offer. 
Couples can also opt to learn the basics of erotic massage based on Yin Yang Tantra massage.

I am always happy to discuss with you the possibility of offering my treatments outside of the fixed schedule and make your event, party, bachelorette party, yacht holidays or short stay in Berlin apartments / hotels special. Contact me directly for availability and custom prices. 
I do not offer home visits to young or healthy individuals who can easily access the studios I am working but gladly serve elderly or people with mobility limitations within 5km of Prenzlauer Berg and Friedrichshain.
